A high tea party bridal shower! This bridal shower styled by the Whimsical Wedding & Elegant Events team (Mainly executed by Johanna May Santiago & Creative design by Jillian Gregorio). We wanted to create an event where our guests felt like royalty the moment the entered. Guests from our ‘high tea’ inspired bridal shower enjoyed vintage inspired details like, tea cups, floral tea pots, old fashioned bird cages and sumptuous pastries. Our soft and whimsical light floral accents where created in our DIY white vases made from decoupaged beer bottles.

These florals were fresh from the garden!
Vintage tea cups for everyone!
Hand crafted vases that were made with love.
Floral tea pots filled with decadent teas!
This tea urn was made in Germany, it added so much grace to the decor and tea party.
These where our hand made pom pom’s from our Parisian Pink Bridal Shower.
We arranged all things vintage, including gold accents from these indian bangles, vintage story books, and added a little elegance with some gold pearls.
These were the wrapped up gifts for our games that we played for our guests.
We played the traditional ‘pin’ bridal shower game where guests had to steal pins off each other if the mention selected words about the wedding.
Each guest wore beautiful high tea inspired head pieces ranging from various size and colour.
My make up was elegantly done by make up artist Julie Vicencio. Hair was styled by Johanna Santiago.
Meet the Bridesmaids. We included the reason why each bridesmaid was chosen, how they knew the bride and described what made each bridesmaid special beside their photo in each vintage gold frame.
The bridal entourage with their fancy high tea inspired head pieces. We decided to incorporate the traditional ‘high tea’ treats such as home made cucumber sandwiches, scones, jams, brownies, cookies , etc.
Guests were enthusiastic to play games such as “the purse game’, where an item was called and you had to retrieve the item for your purse and race to be the first in line to give it up.
Of course we had the traditional, tissue paper wedding dress game.
This amazing strawberry shortcake bridal shower cake was inspired by all things vintage! The amazing lace details are absolutely stunning. The purple roses on the tea pot was a perfect fit for this high tea inspired bridal shower! Not to mention it tasted scrumptious! The cake was made by Barb Taylor from Designer Cakes By Barbara (Look out for our upcoming blog on Barb)
